The Tertiary Research Group |
|
Founded in 1969, the Tertiary Research Group is a London-based,
specialist Geological Society, which brings together amateur and professional
geologists with an interest in the Tertiary period worldwide. Membership is open
to anyone with an interest in any aspect of the Tertiary.
The group is a non-profit-making organisation run by an elected committee.
Member's subscriptions fund publication of the Tertiary Research Group's
journal Cainozoic Research. One volume of Cainozoic Research
is issued for each year to all current members.
One of our greatest strengths is our field meeting programme, which covers the
UK, Europe and occasionally the United States, allowing us to meet overseas
members. We also run joint excursions with a wide variety of local and national
geological groups. Details are circulated to all members.
